Some credit cards including some of the major players have cards that give customers rebates on their purchases - and this is in cash; not in rewards or incentives.

Credit card companies have realized that in order to hang on to customers and encourage customer loyalty that they had to give something back to their customers. That is when reward cards were introduced to the credit card sphere. However, with every credit card now offering rewards the ante has been upped and the latest incentive is to give clients rebates in the form of cash back on their monthly purchases. You can get up to as much as five percent back on some of the higher-end credit cards while the average charge card will net you anywhere between 0.5 to 2.5 percent back on your purchases. Although it may not seem like much, if you use your credit card wisely and efficiently, you will see definite savings over time.

The need for credit is a given in our society. Since we will all need to use our credit cards from time to time, why not make it worth our while? After all we are helping make the credit companies rich, so it is about time that they returned the favour and helped their clients enjoy some of that prosperity.
